CAREERS

LEARN ECOLOGY SURVEY ACADEMY
Learn Ecology are seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist with upcoming ecological field surveys, with a particular focus on bat emergence and re-entry surveys, to join the Learn Ecology Survey Academy, a training programme where we pay you.
The opportunity would be ideally suited to ecology students or those looking to gain early career experience in professional ecology, or those passionate about UK conservation. Learn Ecology is, first and foremost, a non-profit ecological education organisation, and as such priority will be given to those looking to learn about UK bat species ecology and gain insight or experience into the world of professional ecological consultancy.
This opportunity is not limited only to those who have attended, or are currently attending, further education.
Learn Ecology are therefore seeking to provide full training for aspiring ecologists with a willingness to learn, with opportunities to develop key skills in species and habitat survey. Successful applicants will have access to the appropriate equipment to complete the surveys under the supervision of a team of qualified and experienced ecologists. In addition to training and access to equipment, surveyors are also paid for their time.
Opportunities may also arise for the successful applicants to assist in the ongoing development of the business, including undertaking training for the next generation of ecologists, following the completion and sign-off of survey skills training by the Learn Ecology team.
For more information, or to enquire about taking part in in Learn Ecology Survey Academy, please contact us via email at info@learn-ecology.com and tell us a little about yourself, including any relevant existing skills and experience you might have, and an interesting fact about yourself (it can really help you stand out!)
We look forward to hearing from you!
